Packers’ Sam Shields charged with marijuana possession

Another Packers player is in trouble with the law.

Cornerback Sam Shields, 29, has been charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

Officers from the Brown County Drug Task Force were dispatched to Shields’ apartment Oct. 19 to investigate the possibility of marijuana being mailed.

Former Miami, Patriots CB Leonard Myers dead at 38

Former University of Miami and NFL cornerback Leonard Myers, who won a Super Bowl ring with the Patriots as a rookie, has died of cancer at age 38.
