The Devils looked like the team playing the second leg of a back-to-back against a rested team.

The Anaheim Ducks struck for two goals in the opening seven minutes of the first period, and despite pulling within one goal twice, the Devils couldn’t draw even in 4-2 loss on Sunday at Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

The loss was the Devils’ first on their current six-game road trip after they won the first three games, including a 3-0 shutout over the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday to start their back-to-back. They remained in the second wild card spot in the Eastern Conference with 82 points.

The Ducks outshot the Devils, 17-6, in the first period despite the Devils getting three power play opportunities. They had a 5-on-3 power play for 1:34, spanning between the first and second periods, but they mustered just one shot in that span before the Ducks got it back to even strength.

Palmieri capitalized on the Devils’ fourth power play of the night, cutting the deficit to 2-1 at 10:31 of the second period.

Forward Taylor Hall hit Travis Zajac with a pass in the slot, then Zajac fed Palmieri in the left circle, setting up a one-timer past Ducks goalie John Gibson.

The Eagles cut Curry on Friday after he declined to take a pay cut or restructure his contract with the team. He is ranked No. 18 on NFL.com’s Top 101 Free Agents of 2018.

In Tampa, he joins Eagles teammate Beau Allen in helping shore up a Hot Cheap Jerseys Buccaneers defensive front that parted ways with defensive tackle Chris Baker last month.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have stayed true to their mantra of building through the draft this offseason. They’re capped out and have so many stars on their second contracts that their Got Cheap Jerseys chances to improve the team are limited. They could have risked replacing star running back Le’Veon Bell, but they decided it’d be better to hold on to him with a franchise tag.
